It can write a sentence that sounds like a good recommendation, but it doesn't know that cute little restaurant closed in March, that the "hidden gem" quoted everywhere has actually been a tourist trap for years, or that you need to ask for the back table at a certain bistro for some peace and quiet. It gives you a plausible answer. Not necessarily a true one.
Instagram is a different problem: it's a popularity contest, not a guide. A spot goes viral, everyone rushes over, the line gets longer, and six months later it's the place you avoid, precisely because it's packed. You're the one doing the sorting, for hours, with no idea if it's even still accurate.
